Hello my Readers!

Wanted to start out by sharing a prayer from my devotional time today. Here goes:

Lord!

You have been and always will be good. You know all my faults, and still You choose to love me. You are so beautiful and lovely, holy and righteous. And I stand in awe of You. Use me today. Over and over. Let my life be a vessel for Your goodness.

Resist the devil and He will flee from you. I believe that because I know that You crush Satan every time. You have already won! You fight for me. You never give up. Never stop. You go before and behind me. You never forget me and great is Your faithfulness. I know I can stand on the Rock that has never been shaken. I love You, sweet Jesus.

Yours,

Becky

Lately I am so reminded of God’s power, His love and infinite grace. His forgiveness never runs out and it is only those who choose to not hear His voice that are eventually damned for hell. A seared conscience is a hard thing to recover from. Repeatedly ignoring His voice makes a hard and harder heart. Scripture says it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Why is that? Do the simple things in life entice you? Family, friends, some good days? But what about the bad days? What about the times we feel cheated or slighted? Maybe it’s easier to be good when life hands you a great time. What does God have to say about all of this?

Well, Jesus is always willing to forgive and start over. He always wants to show us He loves us, even in the smallest of ways. He gives us a sunrise and sunset each day, birds singing in the morning and rainbows after rain storms. Look at nature. Look at how God provides for birds of the air and beasts of the field. He provides even more for us each day and never lets us down. The gift of the cross is so huge and yet personable at the same time. After all, if God did not come into the world to be liked and accepted, why should we think others will like us based on the fact we know Jesus? So today, make sure you remember to keep yourself away from the things of this world. Try to envision yourself in Jesus’ arms, supping from His hands and accept today that you can do ALL things through Him who gives you strength.

That’s all for now!

Have a great Christmas with those you love and be thankful not only during good days, but bad ones as well. Every breath is a gift. Treat it as such.

Love ya!

Becky
