Sweet Stuff

So I have plenty to write about having been in quaranteen for about a month now. It has been hard on me personally but, I mean really? What do I have to complain about? I’ve been really enjoying having my Michael home from work and the boys home from school. It was nice having Michael here for starting the boys school from home. I think I’ve finally gotten the hang of helping them! Personally I’ve been enjoying having more times for little things like quiet time, crafts and cooking. God has really been working on my heart mainly through His word and prayer. The more I root myself in Him the harder it is for the enemy to uproot me and keep me from spending time with Jesus. I finally finished the Old Testament! So now out with the Old, in with the New! I am praying for you too reader. That you will sense His presence in this seemingly terrible but really amazing time....

Run with the Prize in Mind

Lately I’ve been running everyday and you know why I find it so fulfilling? To me running is so much like life. It’s hard and you get sweaty and dirty. But it’s all worth it in the end. It is all worth it because at the end of the day you can say “Hey yeah! I ran such and such and I didn’t give up. It was hard but I stayed the course and finished even though it was difficult. And isn’t that just like life? We need to have the right equipment and the right people cheering us on and it’s hard and sometimes we want to throw in the towel completely. I get thirsty often too. So why do we keep going? Well, for many of us, there is no other option. It is essential to keep going and living and hopefully at the end of the day it is worth it to keep going helping all our loved ones along the way. So with this I charge you. Stay the course. Keep the faith...

And the trick is to WAIT

I am so enjoying getting to write to you more often lately! It is the “fresh” part of my life and I get so many good vibes from it! So thank you so much for reading. I don’t get a lot of feedback form you, but I gather you enjoy my writings. Have you ever HAD to wait a long time for something? Maybe like when you were a kid at Christmas you asked your parents for something and for a whole month you had to wait to open the gift you KNEW you were getting. And then what happened? Maybe you were disappointed . But maybe, just maybe, you were surprised with something even better than what you asked for. And what is life anyway? Things are just things… it’s memories and the people we share the memories with that matter in the end. I’ve been waiting a long time for something special. I wanted to have children and then all the sudden I got two at once! I am...

Faith instead of Fear

In these trying times it can be tempting to panic and run for cover! It can be tempting to become afraid of this virus. But I would challenge you on this. God is still in total control. He still administers to the broken hearted and, in this case, to the sick and dying. Be rest assured! God is not foreign to those that are suffering. He will not fail to comfort the sick or dying. He has good thoughts about you, reader. He wants to further you and help you because His way is better than yours. He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it in you. He has good things in store for you! He wants to help you.
