Give me a piece of that Kit Kat Bar!!!
Sometimes life gives you lemons. But that’s why you have to make lemonade with them! Not too sweet, not too sour… Just right! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve written. So much has happened I don’t know where to start! God keeps putting people on my heart to pray for! Every day it seems it is a challenge to just breathe and smell the roses. God has been so good to me! I try to not use my phone and I am learning to live in the moment and not be sucked into looking at a screen all the time.
I’ve been going to the gym more with a friend who is a member, riding my bike for a half hour or more, and doing home workouts for my abs and HIIT ( High interval intensive training). Basically it works my whole body in a short 20 to 40 minutes. I use Fitness Blender still on Youtube. A couple has been doing it a long time and I’ve used them before.
My sleep is SUPERB! Finally got those meds worked out with my wonderful new doctor Dr. Todd Gates! I’ve been seeing him for a few months. His knowledge of the medicine I am taking astounds me. He is in his late sixties. He was a medic for the Army reserves when he was very young in the Middle East. He has 30 years plus experience and he has lived all over the country. He has had 30,000 patients (but who’s counting, right?) And he is eccentric! And Funny!
My witness with my neighbors continues to challenge me and I am hoping to see more seeds planted in the coming days, months and years.
Ok! Today I don’t have any more time to devote to this post.
But HERE are some prayer requests for me.
That my sleep can stay stable and good and that my meds continue to decrease as we find the perfect mix and I am getting more stable everyday.
Pray that my neighbors will come to know Jesus FULLY and COMPLETELY and that they will want to go to church with me and pray. This is like 40 people of all ages. Jewish, young, old, gentle, brash…. You name it!
We leave for Idaho to see my sister Mandy and her husband Dominice and her two children on November 17 to the 29. There is a 3 hour time difference so PLEASE PRAY that I don’t have trouble with my meds or my sleep!
