So, I have GOOD news to share with you about a new therapy I’ll be starting next week with TMS (Atlantic Psychiatry), a newer technology that my insurance WILL cover and will help me work through the “FEELINGS” of the depressive side of my disorder. So instead of getting new and sometimes worse meds slapped on me (thereby messing with my anatomy), I can learn how to cope… Dr. James Jacobson will be working with my psychiatrist (who we are both impressed with) but Dr. Gates (my psychiatrist) will now become more of a “drug manager,” and will work with Dr. Jacobson from here on out. Every day it seems it is a challenge to just breathe and smell the roses. God has been so good to me! I try to not use my phone and I am learning to live in the moment and not be sucked into looking at a screen all the time. I’ve been going to the gym more with a friend who is a member, riding my bike for a half hour or more, and doing home workouts for my abs and HIIT ( High interval intensive training). Right? God is so good and lately I am finding Him to be so incredible and worthy of my time and my life and my searchings and comings and goings. I am just so thankful that He speaks, sometimes audibly, to me and comforts me and shows me how to fall more in love with Him each day!
